Three Wonderful Weddings
At Eaton Manor
There is something truly special about bringing family and friends together to celebrate a wedding.
Over recent months, Eaton Manor has been delighted to host three very different weddings, each reflecting the personalities of the couples while showcasing the flexibility of our exclusive-use wedding venue in Shropshire, surrounded by beautiful countryside.
A Magical Weekend for a Local Couple
Our first recent wedding was for a local couple who wanted to maximise time with their loved ones by turning their special day into a full weekend celebration.
Guests arrived on the Friday evening to enjoy time together ahead of the wedding. On the morning of the ceremony, the bride and her bridesmaids got ready in Garden Cottage, with Hair by Nina helping create a relaxed and exciting start to the day.

The couple exchanged vows during a registrar-led ceremony in the Heywood Room, followed by canapés, charcuterie boards and a delicious paella supper served by Batchcott & Waller, enjoyed by family and friends.
The party continued with Jay’s Bars providing the drinks and Storm Machine providing the evening entertainment.
After the celebrations, the newlyweds stayed in Garden Cottage before enjoying a continental breakfast provided by Eaton Manor the following morning.

Celebrating Our First Scottish Wedding
A particular highlight this year was hosting our very first Scottish wedding.
The couple took over the entire estate for a long weekend, allowing family and friends to enjoy several days of celebration together. The festivities began with a BBQ on the first evening, followed by a lively quiz night the next.
On the wedding morning, Garden Cottage once again became a hub of activity as the bride and her bridal party prepared for the day.

Guests then gathered in the Banqueting Room, overlooking the Secret Garden, for a beautiful celebrant-led ceremony accompanied by the unforgettable sound of bagpipes.
The celebrations continued with a fish and chip van, an evening buffet and plenty of time for everyone to make lasting memories together. Adding a personal touch to the celebrations, a family member provided the DJ entertainment for the evening.

The extended celebration created a wonderful opportunity for family and friends to spend meaningful time together while enjoying everything Eaton Manor has to offer.

Bringing Family Together from Afar
Guests travelling from across the country joined our third couple for an exclusive-use wedding weekend in the Shropshire countryside.
The bride and her bridal party spent the morning getting ready in Garden Cottage with the assistance of Nichola Witcombe-Tant before the couple exchanged vows in the Heywood Room during a registrar-led ceremony.

Guests then enjoyed BBQ plates provided by Hammonds Catering in the grounds, making the most of the countryside setting, before coming together again for an evening buffet and celebrations.
Guests were kept refreshed throughout the celebrations thanks to the well-stocked bar provided by Shropshire Bars.
At the end of the day, the newlyweds retired to Garden Cottage and woke the next morning to a continental breakfast, providing the perfect start to married life.
While each wedding was unique, they all shared a common theme: bringing people together.
Whether it was a local family celebration, a Scottish wedding weekend filled with tradition, or guests travelling from across the country, Eaton Manor provided the space and flexibility to create a truly personal experience.
A favourite feature for all three brides was Garden Cottage, offering a dedicated space for wedding morning preparations before becoming a peaceful retreat for the newlyweds. Combined with exclusive-use accommodation, beautiful ceremony spaces and tailored celebrations, it helped make each wedding far more than just a single day. It became a memorable experience shared with family and friends.
We would like to thank all three couples for choosing Eaton Manor and wish them every happiness for the future.
If you’re planning your own wedding and would like to explore the possibilities at Eaton Manor, we’d love to hear from you.
We recently held our wedding at Eaton Manor, including hiring all of the cottages for our guests, and we could not have chosen a better venue… The grounds are absolutely stunning, and every function space and cottage was beautifully presented… What truly made the weekend exceptional, though, was the staff. A special mention has to go to Abi, the Events Manager, who was absolutely fantastic from start to finish. We couldn’t have asked for anything more for our wedding weekend, and would highly recommend to anyone looking for a wedding venue to meet their needs.
