Booking a cottage with a hot tub is perfect if you’re after calm relaxation, to soothe aches & pains or a fun UK weekend break with family or friends.

How long should you sit in a hot tub?

We recommend only staying in the hot tub for a maximum of 20 minutes at a time, and having a rest period of 10-20 minutes. If you start feeling unwell, giddy or faint, please take a break.

Are hot tubs good for your body?

What to pack for a hot tub cottage break?

For a hot tub cottage break, a swimsuit is a must. Bring extra towels, and flip-flops for use around the hot tub. Don’t forget a bottle of your favourite drink to enjoy while you soak in the views.

Are hot tubs safe for young children?

Children aged 5+ can enjoy a hot tub holiday, but must be supervised by an adult at all times. Set the temperature no higher than 37°C and limit their sessions to 10-15 minutes to prevent overheating and dehydration.

Who shouldn’t go in a hot tub?

Anyone pregnant, under the age of 5, with low blood pressure, skin infections, or open wounds should not use the tub. People with diabetes, sensitive skin conditions, or heart disease should consult their GP first.
