Eaton Manor

Set in idyllic grounds with a large private garden and rolling lawns stretching towards the Wenlock Edge, Toad Hall is a beautiful property perfect for a relaxing break in a singularly unspoilt location. Combining a wealth of history with contemporary comforts and luxuries, the property has recently been completely renovated by skilled master-craftsmen, using the best traditional techniques. Special features include superb brick and timber walls, a magnificent oak staircase and extensive use of solid oak floors and doors throughout.

Toad Hall Accommodation

Toad Hall offers extensive accommodation in six beautifully appointed en-suite bedrooms, each with its own colour scheme as well as oak doors, floors and skirting.

On the first floor are four bedrooms with wonderfully airy high ceilings:

John: 6' double or twin bedroom with en-suite shower room.
Henry: Triple or double and single plus an en-suite shower room. There is a wonderful view of the Wenlock Edge from the window.
William: Ideally a 6' double, but can also be a twin bedroom with en-suite shower room. This is a lovely light room featuring a long window with idyllic views onto the church.
David: A room with a clever use of space and a view out towards the church. The beds are ideally arranged as twins but can alternatively be used a 6' double. Has an ensuite shower room.

There are two further bedrooms on the ground floor:

Alice: Triple or a 6' double and a single with en-suite bathroom, this room has a brick and timber feature wall and a door opening out to the courtyard.
Muriel: Ideally a 6' double, but can also be a twin bedroom with en-suite shower room.

All bedrooms have a hairdryer and a portable TV equipped with Freeview. David and Alice's TVs also have a built in DVD player.

With regard to bathrooms, this really is a property designed with convenience in mind! In addition to the six en-suite bathrooms (five with showers and one with a bath), Toad Hall has additional separate shower/toilet facilities on the ground floor.

The Rogan Room

Traditional oak floors and over 55m² (600 square feet) of space make this is a truly magnificent grand hall. The solid wood dining table with leather dining chairs seats 14 people and looks out over the private courtyard, which has a water feature and outdoor lighting shown off to great effect by the enormous French windows.

The sitting area is cosy and homely, with a leather sofa and a large flat screen TV complete with Freeview and DVD player. There is also a toy box for our younger guests. From this area you can walk out to the patio, which is equipped with solid teak garden furniture including a large table for 14 and charcoal barbecue. Steps lead up from the patio to the large enclosed garden which has uninterrupted views up to the Wenlock Edge.

This room can also be set up for dinner groups of up to 50 people - the perfect place for a very special meal. Gather the whole family together for the evening and enjoy the atmosphere of this beautiful room, with views from all windows onto either the private courtyard or the atmospheric private garden, leading to the rolling fields and quiet woods of the Wenlock Edge.

Kitchen

A magnificent dining room needs a kitchen to match, and Toad Hall's modern, fully equipped cook's kitchen is just the ticket. With a large electric range cooker, microwave, large fridge, separate freezer, dishwasher and a washer/dryer, you'll find everything you need to prepare that special meal.

Outdoors

Enjoy a barbeque, play games with the children or simply sit and relax in the large enclosed garden, which is complete with patio furniture for alfresco dining and long lazy evenings watching the sun go down.

For those who prefer a little activity in their holiday, the Eaton Manor swimming pool is open April-October and is just a short walk from Toad Hall. Situated next to Pendennis (another of our properties), it is covered and heated, making it ideal for children. We've even supplied pool chairs for parents to sit in and keep an eye on the little ones!
