Following our success in the national tourism awards last month, we are thrilled to have now been selected in our county’s business awards as one of the top four businesses in Shropshire to have made a significant impact in the tourism, leisure and hospitality sector.

The Shropshire Business Awards are held annually to recognise and celebrate the success of businesses in Shropshire that help put our wonderful county on the map.

The 2013 Shropshire Business Awards were held last Friday and we were in the top four in the Travel, Tourism & Hospitality category, recognising our commitment to the development of our business through our sound business model; our dynamic customer service and the benefits we bring to supporting the Shropshire economy.

Following our Open Day in aid of Macmillan Cancer Support, we are delighted to have raised £500 for this very worthy cause.

Thanks to everyone who came to support and to our suppliers who generously donated raffle prizes and delicious cake!

Macmillan Cancer Support provide practical, medical and financial support to those living with cancer and push for better cancer care.

Together with Premier Cottages, we want to be a part of helping to raise crucial funds to support the life changing work that Macmillan carry out.

All donations at our open day, including proceeds from the raffle, have gone directly to Macmillan Cancer Support.

We are delighted to have won an award at the national tourism awards for excellence, recognising the best self catering accommodation in the country.

We received the Bronze award at the 2013 VisitEngland Excellence Awards ceremony in Manchester and are especially thrilled about this as we were the only finalist to be recognised two years running.

Our fantastic young magician, Sonny, wowed judges again at the National Young Magician of the Year competition in April, coming 2nd against some very tough competition.
