This Easter we were privileged to have a group of very inspired children (Seren, Zak, Carys, Bibi, Lula and Evie) and their dogs (Bill and Buddy) staying at Eaton Manor.

During their stay they all successfully completed our Go Wild Challenge and received Eaton Manor caps as their prizes and after this they wrote us a lovely letter in which they said they had seen that we support the Macmillan Cancer charity and had decided to perform a rap show in order to raise money for Macmillan.

They went on to perform their show and raised a fantastic £69.00 which they gave to us to pass on to Macmillan.

We’d like to take this opportunity to thank the children, and their dogs, for thinking of others during their stay and for raising a great amount of money for such a worthy charity and we hope to welcome them all back to Eaton Manor sometime in the future.

We have been a proud supporter of Macmillan Cancer Support in Shropshire since 2013 and have so far raised £2574.00 from a number of events we’ve held at Eaton Manor.

We have more events planned for this year and are hoping to raise £4000 by the end of 2015.

Our next event will be held on Sunday, May 17th when we will be hosting our second Classic Vehicle Day at Eaton Manor, following the success of last year’s event.

Vehicles will arrive from 11am; with visitors from 12pm until 4pm. Refreshments will be available all day, together with a raffle which will be drawn at 4pm.

Eaton Cottage is available for the weekend if you fancy a stay in the country with a difference!

School holidays are guaranteed to be filled with fun at Eaton Manor.

We have loads to do on the estate without needing to get in the car, which is always nice for Mum and Dad! With the weather warming up, days can be spent outdoors in the large private gardens of each of our holiday homes, playing games on our enormous playing field or perhaps a spot of friendly rivalry on the croquet lawn. Not to mention our 500-acre estate, around which we have plenty of private walks to enjoy and where interesting wildlife can be spotted. You can also enjoy a pony & trap ride or hire bikes during your stay and explore the surrounding countryside at your leisure.
