Cycling is a popular pursuit in Shropshire and, whether you’re after some gentle cycling around country lanes or some more energetic mountain biking in the hills, Eaton Manor is the perfect base for you
To help make your lives that bit easier we have provided some facilities, services and useful information for you.
Full details are provided once you arrive at Eaton Manor, but here’s a list of what’s available:
- Communal drying room – where you can leave wet outdoor clothing and footwear to dry
- Lockable cycle store – with racks where you can leave your bikes locked up when not in use
- Bike wash – outdoor wash area for washing down bikes and outdoor clothing
- Local amenities – information is provided on local shops; banks; post office etc with telephone numbers
- Local eateries – information is provided on local restaurants and pubs
- Emergency cycle & puncture repair kit – located in the cycle store for your convenience
- First aid kit – located under the kitchen sink in each property
- Maps – Ordnance Survey maps of the area provided in each property for use during your stay
- Leaflets on local attractions – there is an information point next to the Billiards & Games Room
- Emergency information – a list is provided of important local emergency telephone numbers

Beautiful accommodation
Our beautiful 4 & 5 Star Gold holiday cottages offer the ultimate retreat for a cycling breaks, with flexible bedroom options for single, twin or double occupancy.
The main site on the estate has 4 cottages within 50 metres of each other: The Manor House, Toad Hall, Curlew Cottage and Garden Cottage – all of which make up Eaton Manor Group.
Then there are a further 4 cottages just a 5-minute walk up the country lane; Pendennis (wheelchair accessible), Great Western Lodge, Woodpecker Way and Pheasant Walk.
Each cottage benefits from its own large, private garden or patio and a well-equipped self-catering kitchen. Alternatively, we can offer fully catered options for your group.
Everything you’ll ever need
We pride ourselves in helping you organise your special event or celebration, be it a milestone birthday, reunion, anniversary or simply an excuse to get together with friends and family. There is so much to enjoy on the Estate as well as exciting activities and guest services - and if you have a particular activity in mind please let us know and we will try to source it locally for you.
