Friday, 1st November 2019,73pm onwards at Eaton Manor
– Three Course Dinner with Speaker in aid of Eaton Church

We are hosting a three course dinner at Eaton Manor with After-Dinner Speaker, Stuart Manley, to raise funds for St Edith’s Church, Eaton.

Stuart will talk about how he, along with 4 other men from Shropshire, rowed 2100 miles down the full length of the River Amazon totally unassisted, passing through 3 countries, Peru, Columbia and Brazil – an epic journey testing their resources to the limit.

There will be a welcome glass of prosecco on arrival, followed by a three course dinner provided by Oak Apple Catering.

As part of our continued support for Macmillan Cancer Support in Shropshire we host events to raise money and awareness for the charity.

Classic Vehicle Owners Event

On Sunday, 19th May 2019 we held our our 6th annual event for classic vehicle owners, and raised £2213.50 for Macmillan Cancer Support in Shropshire!

Thank you to everyone who supported us to make the day such a success.

We had an amazing turnout of over 180 exhibiting vehicles, spanning all ages.

Entry was £5 per vehicle, all of which went to Macmillan, as well as the proceeds from refreshments including a bar, light lunches, teas and cakes and a raffle.

All proceeds go Macmillan in Shropshire as part of our ongoing support of the charity.

THANK YOU to everyone who exhibited their vehicles and for supporting such a fantastic cause.

A SPECIAL THANK YOU to everyone who supported the event by donating raffle prizes and giving up their time to help with refreshments, sell raffle tickets and vehicle marshalling etc on the day.

The event was organised in aid of Macmillan Cancer Support, registered charity in England and Wales (261017), Scotland (SC039907) and the Isle of Man (604). Also operating in Northern Ireland.

For Eaton Church

On Friday, 18th January 2019 we hosted an Egg…straordinary Talk & Supper at Eaton Manor, raising £560.

Proceeds were again in aid of the Church at Eaton. Guests enjoyed a light supper with an egg based theme and speaker, Julian Madeley, talked about the work of the International Egg Foundation in the third world.

On Friday, 2nd November 2018 we hosted a Three Course Dinner with Speaker at Eaton Manor, raising £1419.

Proceeds were in aid of St Edith’s Church, Eaton, with a donation of £100 to Oswestry Orthopaedic Hospital.Guests enjoyed a glass of Prosecco on arrival, followed by three course sit down meal provided by OakApple Catering, and after dinner, Caroline Magnus, Owner of Stokesay Court spoke on ‘The Role of Stokesay Court in the First World War’.
