As part of our continued support for Macmillan in Shropshire we host events to raise money and awareness for the charity.
Classic Vehicle Day 2017: Sunday 21st May, from 10.00am onwards

- Afternoon tea in the banqueting room
- Some interesting gift & craft stalls
- Telford & District Amateur Radio Society will be operating a special event station
- Any visitors can have a go and see how many countries they can speak to
- The Shropshire Linux User Group will be demonstrating 3D printing and other technologies
- Local model railway and engineering clubs will be exhibiting
- The Bishops Castle Railway Society and Scalextric will also be racing on our super large track
Due to the success of recent years, and because space is limited, this year exhibitors must register their cars in advance – although there will be no charge for show vehicles.

All funds raised will go to Shropshire Macmillan Cancer Support.
If any Car Clubs or individuals could help provide raffle/tombola prizes we would be very appreciative.

Our previous Macmillan event was the Classic Vehicle Day at Eaton Manor: Sunday, 22nd May 2016
On Sunday, 22nd May we held our third annual Classic Vehicle Day at Eaton Manor and are delighted to have raised £1600.00 for Macmillan Cancer Support in Shropshire
We had a bumper turnout of exhibiting cars (well over 100), including kit cars, specials, classic cars, modern classics, vintage vehicles, tractors, landrovers and bikes, and a great number of visitors too.
Entry was free of charge for cars and visitors, with the £1,600.00 raised from refreshments and light lunches, together with a raffle and donation pots. All proceeds go Macmillan in Shropshire as part of our ongoing support of the charity.
Telford & District Amateur Radio Society also took part on the day. They operated a Special Event radio call sign for the event ‘GB1EMC‘ and visitors were invited to try their hand at making radio contact. Contacts were made across the globe from Kentucky to Turkey! They should be attending next year’s event as well.
Thank you to everyone who exhibited their vehicles and to all the visitors who came along to admire some amazing pieces of machinery from the last century.
A special thank you to everyone who supported the event by donating raffle prizes and giving up their time to help with refreshments, sell raffle tickets and vehicle marshalling on the day.
