School holidays are guaranteed to be filled with fun when you stay at Eaton Manor.

We have loads to do on the estate without having to get in the car!

Days can be spent outdoors in the large private gardens of each of our holiday cottages, playing games on the playing field or perhaps a spot of friendly rivalry on the croquet lawn.  Not to mention our 500-acre estate, which is there for you to explore and enjoy. You can also hire bikes during your stay to explore the surrounding countryside at your leisure.

However, if dark clouds are looming then fear not because we’ve plenty to do indoors too, including our fantastic games hall, complete with numerous activities, and our covered and heated swimming pool. You could even try something new with our Have-a-Go archery sessions in our indoor range.

If you do fancy a trip out for the day, then the activities on your doorstep are endless, from mountain biking and hiking on the stunning nearby Longmynd to thrill seeking outdoor pursuits such as quad biking and high ropes, as well as horse riding and golf. If you’re after a more gentle pace, however, then just 5 minutes drive away is the BBC’s Victorian Farm, Acton Scott, an historic working farm or, slightly further afield, you’ll find National Trust places to visit (which hold Easter Trails) at nearby National Trust sites, as well as Ironbridge, a World Heritage Site. The market towns of Ludlow and Shrewsbury are well worth a visit too.

Whatever you fancy and however young or old the kids are, we’re sure there’ll be plenty to entertain everyone at Eaton Manor and in the local area.

We also have a variety of Baby and Toddler items to ease the load when you’re packing the car. Items such as changing mats, potties, and nightlights can all be requested in advance and we’ll provide them free of charge for use during your stay.

And, don’t forget, dogs are very welcome to come too!

Dogs are very welcome at Eaton Manor and we love welcoming them just as much as their owners.

Your four-legged friend will feel just as at home as you whilst here at Eaton Manor, with their very own welcome pack including blanket, bowl, towel and treats.

Warm Dog Wash

Each pack also includes an ID tag for dogs to wear during their stay, just in case they decide to have a roam around on their own!

Although, as eight of our nine cottages are dog-friendly, and the gardens/patios at each are enclosed, this should hopefully be unlikely.

With 500 acres of private countryside to explore, the dog walking possibilities are endless, and your dog can enjoy a lovely warm dog wash to clean off afterwards.

Our own dog, Moose (pictured above, and below with his friend Jerry), looks forward to welcoming everyone to Eaton Manor.
