We had 33 people in our party this year ranging from 1 to 85 and would like to go back in 2 years time when there will probably be nearer 40 of us, so thank you.

We stayed in Pendennis for my husband’s 40th celebrations with 3 generations of family. The accommodation was perfect for our needs as there were 3 toddlers, 2 very active boys, and adults of all ages. The property is all on one level, with a great garden, fantastic views, large lawn where a lot of football was played and a pool at the end of the garden, what more can you ask for, thank you!
A few minutes walk down the lane and you have the games room which was brill, again catering for all ages and we had lots of fun playing rounders on the playing field. The badminton court was an added bonus!
The accommodation was lovely, very well equipped kitchen and everything was extremely clean. The beds were comfy and showers great. Plenty of room to relax in the conservatory and we managed to eat in the garden for most meals.
The great thing about Eaton Manor estate is that you don’t have to leave for the whole weekend, you have all the entertainment you need for a family so completely relaxing and my boys had a brilliant time. We will hold fond memories of our weekend here and hope to return one day.

Where do I start?! A big thank you to you and all your team for a wonderful, fault free, perfect weekend. The setting was glorious, the Manor and Curlew above all expectations. The atmosphere at the Manor added so much to everyone’s enjoyment and by the time Jane came to cook for us everyone was in party mood! She and Zoe did a fantastic job especially knowing that Jane was going to have such an early start on Sunday! The meal was thoroughly enjoyed by all and the evening continued with hilarious party games. Hope we didn’t keep you awake with all our laughter!!
The pool was enjoyed as was the games room. Young and old were amazed at the size of it and all joined in with one game or another. At one time the joint age playing table tennis was 320 yrs!!
Not bad eh!!
Max and Teddy ….the dogs. ……enjoyed the walks too but Teddy, the labradoodle, couldn’t cope with the stile so had to turn back but he still enjoyed his freedom.
I could go on for ever Nichola but you know what a lovely venue you have and all it offers, not forgetting the horse and trap trip with my sister, Roma and my two grandaughters, Mia and Evie who loved every minute of it!
Thank you again for sharing your beautiful 500 acres with us. We will be back!!

The accommodation is really lovely, all of our guests were really impressed, and it’s practical, so you don’t have to worry about damaging carpets/dirty shoes/a spillage – everything has been thought about.
We couldn’t have had a better weekend and wouldn’t have changed a thing!

We loved the fact that there were several walks directly from the property and others at a short distance away.
The children loved the games room (and the freedom to go along to it on their own!) and playing badminton in the high barn.

We had two sessions of Nordic Walking with Adrianna, which we thoroughly enjoyed.

Powis Castle was worthy of the journey into Wales, Shrewsbury is a beautiful town. Ludlow very quaint and Much Wenlock is just amazing; trapped in a time long ago.
The Bottle & Glass is an excellent place to eat and drink and The Green Dragon has rib-eye steak second to none!

We stayed for a long weekend to celebrate a special birthday with the family. The house was well equipped including baby/toddler packs which have everything you’d need for young children (aged 1, 2 & 3) and this was really appreciated. We used the services of many of the local suppliers recommended by Eaton Manor team; decorations and balloons, a birthday cake, beer from the local Woods Brewery and our on-line supermarket groceries had all been delivered/unpacked as promised ahead of our arrival. A really seamless service! We also used the drop off suppers for our arrival evening, with the Chef visiting to cook a special birthday dinner and Sunday brunch in the kitchen which was a real treat. For extra entertainment, Sonny the Magician performed his magic show for all ages and made animal balloons for the children to keep.
Tranquil countryside setting and beautiful scenery.
Nothing was too much trouble for Nichola who was friendly and on hand whilst being discreet had we needed anything during our stay (although we didn’t experience any problems or issues).
The garden and the pool were perfect especially as we had young children. The Games room entertainment got good use and little details like the fancy dress box were so much fun for the toddlers.
I think they’ve thought of everything a family needs whilst they are away on holiday, we all had an amazing time and will have special memories. Thank you. We’d love to visit again.

The guys in the office were extremely helpful and responsive when we needed them.

The cottage was spotlessly clean and all towels, linen and kitchen utensils and equipment were first class.
The enclosed garden was wonderful for the children and dogs to play and the weather was so kind we were able to have Sunday Lunch outside. The games room and other facilities were wonderful and enjoyed by all.
The setting and views are breath taking as well as the walks. We even managed to attend the Harvest Festival in the little church down the lane which was rather beautiful. Two of our group did go to the Wellbeing Centre and of course the swimming pool was a hit with the children.
Cathy and I loved it so much we are checking availability to stay in Garden Cottage next year (we had a little peep through the windows).

A visit to Ludlow is recommended, lovely town and very historical. Also Church Stretton is worth a visit, great antique shop/market and lovely coffee shop.
The walks are great, but we had rain so didn’t go as far as we would have liked to.

Evenings spent relaxing here in wonderful late sunshine with much wildlife present – pheasants, many birds, little shrews dotting about with Ellie, our Cocker Spaniel fascinated by all of this. She loved it too I guess!
Ludlow was visited as well. Nice place, lively market square, dog friendly town too.
Accommodation here first class, everything to hand. Location superb, so quiet.

You might be lucky in enjoying lovely views from the top of the Long Mynd, especially in late evenings.
Bird watching can be done at Venus Pool (South East of Shrewsbury) but there is also a bird hide in the area of Wenlock Edge.
In addition there are several buildings/estates run by the National Trust which are worth a visit.
Due to the well equipped kitchen we did a lot of cooking, but we would also recommend The Station Inn in Marshbrook.

This was our first visit to Eaton Manor Estate, although we have previously stayed elsewhere in Shropshire. From the friendly welcome (despite our late arrival) to the well-equipped and ideally located cottage, Woodpecker Way was perfect for our needs, with the peace and quiet were looking for.
The accommodation provided everything we needed, and was without question one of the best we’ve encountered, and even included taking delivery and unpacking our grocery order, which was greatly appreciated.
We found the location of the property ideal for visiting places such as Shrewsbury and Ludlow. We visited Ludlow for the Food Festival, and it was a great experience.
We would also recommend some of the local walks around the estate, as shown in the Guest Information folder, and we particularly enjoyed visiting St Edith’s Church at Eaton.
We’d like to come back again for a longer visit, as this was just a short break.
