Classic Vehicle Day at Eaton Manor, Sunday 17th May 2015

£1200 Raised at Our Classic Vehicle Day on Sunday, 17th May 2015 for Macmillan Cancer Support in Shropshire.

Our second annual Classic Vehicle Day proved to again be hugely successful with a great amount raised for charity and over 50 classic and interesting vehicles on display, including a Riley RME, Morris Travellers, a Lotus Elan and a Nova kit car.

Entry was free of charge for cars and visitors, with the £1200 raised from light refreshments and a bar, together with a raffle and donation pots. All proceeds will go Macmillan Cancer Support in Shropshire as part of our ongoing support of the charity.

Thank you to everyone who brought their vehicles and to all the visitors who came along to admire some amazing pieces of machinery from the last century.

A special thank you to everyone who supported the event by donating raffle prizes and giving up their time to help with refreshments, sell raffle tickets and vehicle marshalling on the day. We are delighted to have raised £1200 for Macmillan due to everyone’s generosity.

Next Year’s Event: Sunday, 22nd May 2016
Due to the success of this event we have already put a date in the diary for next year, which is Sunday, 22nd May 2016. So if you fancy coming along for a relaxed afternoon in beautiful South Shropshire and meeting some interesting people with their vehicles please do put the date in your diary.
