Earlier this year Eaton Manor welcomed Paralympic Archer, Danielle Brown, with a film crew from Channel 4, as they filmed part of a series of short films about Danielle in the build up to the London Paralympics.
Danielle suffers from reflex sympathetic dystrophy in the feet, which means she is in constant pain and unable to stand for any length of time, and as a result she competes leaning on a stool.
Danielle won Gold in the women’s individual compound at the 2008 Beijing Paralympics (during which time she was a law student at Leicester University, and subsequently achieved a first!) and will be competing again at the London 2012 Paralympics in a couple of weeks.

We would like to wish Danielle, and all the other Team GB paralympians, the very best of luck in the forthcoming games!
