Edward’s Trust is a unique and ground-breaking charity that provides support for children and families during serious illness and bereavement. At Eaton Manor we are proud to support their work. We can offer a truly private and tranquil environment for the charity to hold special retreats for those who are bereaved to help them on their difficult journey ahead.

Although based in the Birmingham area the trust have recently started holding retreats at Eaton Manor to provide counselling and support for those who’ve been affected by the loss of a child.

Having held four retreats at Eaton Manor last year we have had the pleasure in welcoming Edward’s Trust back again this year with a number of retreats booked and we offer them flexible arrival and departure days to suit their needs.

The Edward’s Trust charity was founded 20 years ago by Peter and Hilary Dent in memory of their son Edward who died of cancer when he was 7 years old. They support anyone affected by the death of a child, whatever their age or cause of death and they also support children of school age, who are bereaved of a parent, carer or sibling, either at Edward’s Trust or through outreach work in schools.
