There is no shortage of things to do during your visit to Eaton Manor. Whether you want to stroll through some beautiful Shropshire Countryside, or climb some Shropshire hills; maybe visit the nationally famous Acton Scott, historic working farm, or take part in outdoor adventures like quad biking, clay pigeon shooting or high rope adventure climbing. Or perhaps you would prefer a delicious meal and fine wine in some of Shropshire’s finest pubs and restaurants.
Recent visitors to Eaton Manor discovered Housmans Café Bar, which recently opened in Church Stretton, just a few miles from Eaton Manor. They commented on how lovely their meals were and suggested we recommend it to other guests. So if during your Eaton Manor stay, you’re looking for somewhere to eat, you could try their recommendation http://www.housmanscafebar.co.uk/ .
Acton Scott, the setting of BBC's Victorian Farm, will be opening to visitors on March 30th. Acton Scott is a working historic farm and provides a fascinating insight into rural life at the turn of the 19th Century. The farm stocks many traditional breeds, and the land around is worked with heavy horses. There are also daily demonstrations of period skills and visits from the Wheelwright, Farrier and Blacksmith, to complete the picture of life on a Victorian country estate.
