Shropshire is still one of the least known parts of England, located as it is on
the mid-Wales border and yet within easy reach of many parts of Britain.
Arriving by road
From the traffic lights at Church Stretton on the A49 take the B4371 signposted
to Much Wenlock.
After about 4 miles you will reach the village of Wall-Under-Heywood, turn right
50 metres after the Plough pub (on the corner by the telephone box). Follow this
lane for approximately 2 miles along the valley. At the end of the road, just
before the T junction, you will come to Pendennis which is on the left hand side.
For our other properties carry on past Pendennis, turn left at the T junction follow
the road over the bridge and bear right by the Church, Eaton Manor is on the right
followed by my home Otters Lair and then Curlew Cottage. The office is a green building
on the right past Curlew Cottage.
Arriving by train
The nearest railway station is at Church Stretton on the Cardiff - Crewe line. Other
stations a little further away are Shrewsbury and Telford. We will be happy to arrange
for you to be met from the station.
