perfect country cottage. A new addition to Eaton Manor Estate, this is a stunning,
secluded, stone cottage with quiet corners outside in which to relax and an area
to play outside games, coupled with spectacular views towards the Wenlock Edge,
which never fail to impress. The inside of this spacious property combines traditional
features, such as a log burning stove, with beautiful handmade elements including
a beautiful oak kitchen. Eaton Cottage also has its own private pool which will
be opening in April 2012.
Eaton Cottage Accommodation
Eaton Cottage provides luxury accommodation in four beautifully appointed bedrooms
combined with thoughtfully laid out and very comfortable living spaces.
Ground Floor
The kitchen/dining room is striking with a magnificent handmade oak kitchen, complete
with induction hob, and a dining table seating 8, making it the perfect place in
which to entertain. The light and airy sun room leads off the kitchen and opens
out on to the impressive gardens. The sitting room is beautifully appointed and
very cosy with seating for 8. It also has a feature Clearview log burning stove.
The Ilston Bedroom is situated on the ground floor and can be a twin or double bedroom.
There is also a shower room with toilet on the ground floor that is near to the
Ilston bedroom.
First Floor
There are three bedrooms on the first floor and a large family bathroom with bath
and separate large shower cubicle. The Pennington Bedroom has a 5ft double bed with
views overlooking the garden. The Brindley Bedroom can be a double or a twin bedroom
and has views out across the valley. The Lancett Bedroom is ideally a twin bedroom,
but can be a double if required.
Outdoors
The gardens at Eaton Cottage are very large and beautifully maintained with plenty
of space for everyone, including peaceful areas with seats and a large lawned area
for children to play on. There is also patio furniture and a barbeque which provide
an ideal way to spend an idyllic summer evening soaking up the beautiful South Shropshire
views. Eaton Cottage also has its own private swimming pool which will be opening
in April 2012 but in the meantime the Eaton Manor Estate swimming pool is open from
April to October for all guests and is a very short walk from Eaton Cottage. Situated
next to Pendennis (another of our properties), it is covered and heated, making
it ideal for children. We've even supplied pool chairs for parents to sit in and
keep an eye on the little ones! Eaton Manor Estate has a large, shared on-site games
room which is a five minute walk from Eaton Cottage.
Parking
There is plenty of private, off-road, gravelled parking.
Extras
At Eaton Manor Estate we pride ourselves on helping make your holiday as relaxed
and enjoyable as possible and provide a number of things to aid this. At Eaton Cottage
the following items are provided: log burning stove, central heating, TV, DVD player,
CD player, telephone, kettle, toaster, iron & ironing board, hair dryers, dishwasher,
cooker with induction hob, microwave, fridge, freezer, washer/dryer, barbeque and
all your linen and towels (although please provide your own towels for use at the
pool). Bath robes will also be provided when the pool is open. Baby/toddler packs
(including cot and highchair etc) are available on request.
General
Please note: we do not allow dogs in Eaton Cottage and it is a strictly no smoking
property.
